- The IMSI Regulatory Committee monitors government regulatory agencies and acts to influence government legislation and policies affecting pure maple syrup and informs members of the proceedings.
- The IMSI Pure Maple Syrup Standards Advisory Group works on preventing adulteration of pure maple syrup and misleading advertising of competing sweeteners. The group is currently working on a comprehensive Standard of Identity strategy and CODEX filing to protect all pure maple syrup producers in domestic and foreign markets.
- The IMSI Marketing Committee drives the content and social media communications to provide an accurate source information to consumers, individual members and producers, producer associations as well as print and social media publications who need accurate maple industry and maple products information.
